HUECK Lambda SA I

Sound-proofing and ventilation. At the same time.

Conventional sound-proof windows only reduce sound pressure while they are closed. Moreover, being completely cut off from outdoor noise results in a feeling of isolation for many people and causes noises from the building’s interior to seem more intense.

Now there is a genuine alternative:
HUECK Lambda SA I

This innovative window solution achieves sound absorption figures of up to 36 decibels even in the ventilation position.

REDUCING NOISE INSTEAD OF CUTTING IT OFF

Living in the city means being right in the middle of urban life – which generally includes a high level of noise. In excess, however, this noise is detrimental not only to well-being but also, in the long term, to health. According to the TA-Lärm guidelines on protection against noise, a pleasant indoor sound pressure level is considered to be 35 dB(A) during the day and 25 dB(A) at night. In this context, reducing outdoor noise by just 10 dB is perceived as a welcome halving of the noise level. However, if the noises from outdoors are blocked out completely, most people have an unpleasant feeling of being cut off. At the same time, they perceive irritating noises from inside the building even more intensely.

“Sleeping with the window open leads to better sleep depth and efficiency and to occupants waking up less frequently.”

“With infill development in inner cities and increasing noise levels, soundproofing will continue to gain in importance. In this sector, Hueck is already one step ahead with its Lambda Silent Air I window system, which is already available.”

GREATER QUALITY OF LIFE AT HOME AND AT WORK

  • Peace at night even with the window tilted open
  • No unpleasant sense of being “trapped in” acoustically
  • Superior room climate due to continuous air exchange
  • Avoidance of structural damage thanks to natural ventilation

CREATIVE FREEDOM DESPITE SOUND-PROOFING

Not only in terms of ventilation but also visually, HUECK Lambda SA I offers planners and architects an attractive alternative to impact panes or double windows. Uniform profile depths and fixed frames mean the same external appearance can be realised for building sections subject to high and low levels of noise.

Whether as an individual solution, with a fanlight or bottom light window for inrush ventilation, or integrated into a window strip – HUECK Lambda SA I can be combined in a variety of ways within the Lambda modular system.
